Food Drive - bring hope to a family in need
As the season change, so too does the need in our communities. While many of us have our eyes on cozy blankets and comfort food, there are individuals and families struggling to put food on the table.
Food insecurity is a growing issue and it affects millions of people worldwide. According to Feeding America, 1 in 9 people in the US faces hunger, with higher rates in certain communities.
Radiant Energy Tattoo has teamed up with Fulfillnj.org to assist families and individuals in our community who may be in need due to financial hardship, loss of SNAP benefits, or whatever unexpected situation has caused vulnerability.
On their website, Fulfill has created this list of most needed items*:
Canned tuna, chicken & salmon
Canned veggies & beans
Cooking oils
Shelf-stable milk
Pancake mix and syrup
Peanut butter & jelly
Canned fruits
Fruit juice
Soups (Suggestions – chicken noodle, chicken & rice, beef vegetable)
Ready-to-eat canned meals (Suggestions -chili (bean, chicken, beef), stew (vegetable, chicken, beef), ravioli (cheese, beef), chicken w/rice & vegetables, spaghetti & meatballs)
Hot cereals (Suggestions: oatmeal, steel-cut oats, farina, muesli)
Cold cereals (Suggestions: Toasted O’s (original or honey nut), bran flakes, corn flakes, shredded wheat, Grape-Nuts, Special K, Fiber One cereals, Cascadian Farms cereals, Kashi cereals)
*Expired food cannot be accepted. Please be sure to check the dates before donating.
Remember, every can of food, every donation, and every volunteer hour counts. Whether we collect a little or a lot, it makes a difference in someone’s life. By working together, we can make sure no one in our community has to go hungry.

The months of November and December are geared toward family holidays and celebrating loved ones, thankfulness and unity. Radiant Energy is thankful for your business, so we are offering our discounted flash every day for both months! All of our artists have submitted new flash that you can see here. Now all you need to do is choose someone to get matching tattoos with, pick a design, and make an appointment! (Walk-ins are also welcome and single people getting 2 tattoos)
