Deposit Policy-Shop
No appointments are booked and no work is started until a deposit is paid.
Your deposit is non-refundable once your artist starts work on your piece. A full refund is possible if refund is requested before work has begun on piece.
Deposit is not transferable to other person/party/entity/etc.
Your deposit amount will be deducted from your *last* session for this tattoo piece. It expires six (6) months after your latest consult or session.
Your artwork/mockup will be completed based on when you schedule your next consult or appointment; work is based on appointment order.
Your artist may have you return to the shop (Zoom Consult) for a second consult or email you to confirm the design. Minor changes can be made at this point if necessary. If major design changes are required, additional time may be needed to re-design your piece and rescheduling may be required. An appointment and line drawing will be made after you approve the artwork/mockup, when applicable.
Minor changes are possible but major changes may require additional time or rescheduling.
Design changes within 24 hours of the tattoo appointment may not be possible or require rescheduling. Notify your artist as soon as possible, and prior to your appointment, if you have questions or changes for your piece.
Refusal and/or cancellation of your design at any point, and/or starting an entirely new piece after your artist started work on the original piece will result in loss of deposit for the original piece. A new deposit will be taken for the new piece.
All artwork becomes property of your artist and/or Radiant Energy Tattoo.
Rescheduling requests received after 6:00PM of the day prior to your appointment will result in a 50% deposit penalty. A second occurrence results in loss of remaining 50%.
You can reschedule two (2) times after last attended consult or session before losing deposit. This limit resets after each consult or session you attend. This limit does not apply for rescheduling due to inclement weather or artist illness.
If you are a no-call/no-show (15+ minutes late) for any appointment, with no notice/contact to us, your deposit is lost, no further contact from Radiant Energy Tattoo will be made, and deposit is not valid for future sessions of this piece. Depending on lateness, there may not be enough time for your session and rescheduling may be necessary.
You can choose to leave a larger deposit than required, however it will not give your project priority over other projects and all deposit terms still apply.
In the event a larger deposit than requested is given, and the situation arises where the deposit is lost, Radiant Energy Tattoo will keep the original requested deposit amount and refund the difference. For CC, the difference will be refunded to your card within 3-5 business days from request. For cash, refunds can be given electronically (Venmo/Cash App/PayPal) but if cash is required we will set up a time for you to pick up the refund. It must be claimed within 30 days of the refund request appointment and must be claimed only by you. A no-show loses the full deposit.
A valid government ID will be required when you fill out your release form at your session. If you do not have a valid ID at time of session, your deposit will be lost. Do not pay deposit/set up appt if you don’t have one of the following valid IDs:
Valid IDs Include: State Driver’s License, State/County ID Card, Passport, Green Card
Unacceptable IDs Include: Expired IDs, Military IDs, Counterfeit IDs, School IDs with Photo Only, Birth Certificate (only), Birth Certificate (copies), Any Other Type Of Non-Governmental ID
For School ID, they can be valid but ONLY if Photo AND Birthday is shown on the front of the ID. We may require an original birth certificate in this instance.
